On May 31, the Kiwanis Club of Chibougamau held its Lobster Dinner. Around twenty volunteers prepared and served 614 meals, totaling 2,100 pounds of lobster. The event raised over $35,000 to support the Club’s activities throughout the year and to help youth in need in the Nord-du-Québec region.

Since April 21, Mr. Olivier Breton of Chibougamau has been pleased to welcome customers to his new business, IGA Breton. An investment of $1.5 million made it possible to acquire the grocery store, modernize the price display system, and maintain 55 jobs.
